Just wanted to give a shout out to everyone that's been contributing to this blog. It takes a lot of guts to let your voice be heard in a public way and I appreciate all the comments and fun we've been having over the past few months. Election Day is finally here! No matter the outcome, I believe a purpose has been served. Women have raised their voices and proclaimed what they believed. Wonderful! Hopefully we've all learned something new. How we are all different, yet the same. Let it continue!
So a toast ladies, to better days.

My sister came across this article on LDS.org. The article is called "Apostle Urges Students to Use New Media"
"Two hundred graduating students at Brigham Young University-Hawaii were urged today to use the Internet — including blogs and other forms of “new media” — to contribute to a national conversation about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Elder Ballard said there were too many conversations going on about the Church for Church representatives to respond to each individually, and that Church leaders “can’t answer every question, satisfy every inquiry and respond to every inaccuracy that exists.” He said students should consider sharing their views on blogs, responding to online news reports and using the 'new media'."
I guess we are doing our part. I hope that through this process people both in the church and out of the church can see that we as members have strong beliefs. While we may agree and disagree on many issues, there is a common ground for us to fight for the greater good.

It's been WAY fun! I really enjoy hearing both sides of an argument and I think you've done a great job of allowing that on your blog. What will we do now????? What if the hanging chad comes into play again and we can prolong this a few more weeks? I'll keep my fingers crossed. And now, I'm off to vote. Thanks for the amusement blue girl in a red state.
